Summary: The location was exactly as described. It was right on the beach, and private enough that we were able to avoid that resort feeling of overall busyness. Check in was smooth and easy. The property is located in a secured neighborhood, with local police nearby. Felt safe the entire time. We went during July, so it was brutally hot and humid, but the AC units worked great.There's also an abundance of local wildlife all around, so you'll get to see a lot of animals on land, and in the water. Snorkeling was amazing, and most of the time the visibility was great. The water is also quite shallow, and we were able to touch bottom as far as 100 feet from the shore.The only downside at all was not within the control of our hosts. The sargassum was incredibly thick. Most of the beach areas in the center of the bay were completely inaccessible. Luckily, this particular property is closer to one end of the bay, so they cleared us a path into the ocean every day. So while it was a nuisance, it didn't prevent us from being able to go out and snorkel.
