Casa Doremisol is in a new gated condominium complex close to the beaches and the central shopping & nightlife areas. It is located in the Playa Madera district between the famous La Ropa beach & El Centro. Playa Madera is a short two-minute walk away, La Ropa beach is an 12-minutes walk. The town center, a 10 -minute stroll away, has a bustling, vibrant central food, farmers' & artisans' market with many local restaurants. The town beach has a fishermen's market. There is a central square which providess many local sporting & cultural activities. The town hosts an Annual International Guitar Festival & Sailfest.

The complex has a unique look with modern Mexican architectural influences using tropical hardwoods, river stone accents and polished concrete. The apartment comprises two bedrooms with king size beds with en-suite bathrooms, living room and kitchen plus a private balcony. The furnishings are designed for your comfort and visual delight with a contemporary Mexican feel. Your condo is equipped with everything you might expect: sheets, towels, soaps and a hair dryer, plus quality kitchen & table ware, beach towels, and weekly cleaning service. The airport is ten minutes by car from the city, taxis are cheap and plentiful; buses are also comfortable and can be used safely. So you can forget about a rental car -just come and relax.

Summary: We have recently returned from a nine week stay in the Playa Madera Area of Zihuatanejo. Ralph and I have travelled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America, but we have finally found our forever place. We look for certain things in a holiday and this long term stay certainly checked all of the boxes. We spent nine weeks and enjoyed sunny skies and 30+temperatures every day. Not one single day of rain !! The many beaches both those close by and those visited by bus or taxi were flat, walkable, natural, not man made and rocky as in the Mayan. Mostly swimmable, we enjoyed many a day in the ocean with due respect given to some of the more challenging waves. Zihuatanejo gives one a true Mexican experience. We love to walk and explore and felt safe wandering the many cobblestone streets. Casa Ceiba Complex is truly a hidden gem. You walk thru the locked door to this gated community into an oasis. lush greenery, beautiful pool, lots of comfortable chairs. The entire complex is immaculately kept by Jesus. Casa Ceiba was easy walking distance to everything, beaches, 5 star restaurants, grocery shopping, and the many local markets. Residents and other long term visitors to this complex were welcoming and informative. Many suggestions of what to see and do. Local buses were readily available and taxis were plentiful and reasonable. I must say literally everything was unbelievably cheap from food and drink to transportation and entertainment making long term stay very attractive and affordable. We had the great pleasure of spending our entire visit at “Doremisol”, Michel and Armande’s lovely two bedroom, second floor condo. It was immaculately kept, showing distinct pride of ownership. Everything was in good working order. If we had an questions or concerns, the property manager was readily available and the owner himself got back to us directly if asked. We had absolutely everything we needed. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable king sized beds, plump pillows. Drinking water was plentiful and delivered on request. Air conditioning worked well, showers were exhilarating with great water pressure. Wifi surprisingly fast and dependable. These are all things that have proved a challenge in the past but certainly not here. The pictures available on line certainly do not do this place justice. We happily return next year and feel so lucky to have found this paradise.
