Casa de los Corazone is 1 1/2 miles from the town of Chapala to the east, 1 mile from San Antonio and 2 miles from Ajijic to the west. It is about 25 miles south from the international airport in Guadalajara.
The main house has two large bedrooms, each with built in closets. The first bedroom has a queen size bed ample closets, dresser and master bathroom and the guest bedroom has a matrimonial (or double) bed with a large closet and built in drawers. There is a guest bathroom between the two bedrooms. The living room is furnished with a hacienda style couch, love seat and chair. There is a TV in the living room with Roku and a DVD player. WIFI is also included. The dining room has a beautifully carved table with four chairs, a hand carved bar and a curio cabinet to show those mementos you bought to remember your trip. The kitchen is fully equipped with granite counter tops, beautiful and ample cupboards, 6 burner gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, silverware, etc.
The casita has one bedroom with a double size bed, an wardrobe, and a bathroom with a tiled shower. The casita is also furnished with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, glasses and cups. There is an 18 inch TV in the casita.
We are one block from Hidalgo, the main highway that links all of the towns dotting the north shore of Lake Chapala. On Hidalgo you will find frequent buses that run the length of the north shore if you choose not to drive, as well as a wonderfully maintained walking and bike trail.
As I hope you can see from the pictures, both the house and casita are beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated. You will have access locally to our property manager and maintenance person. The gardener will be there twice per week. Our housekeeper will also provide once per week basic housecleaning services as part of the rental (sweeping, dusting, washing floors, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning counter tops and polishing wood furniture). Any other services may be arranged with property manager, Rebeca, for a separate fee.
The house and the casita both are fully furnished. There is off street parking for two cars. The patio is covered and has electric outlets, a propane grill, a kitchen counter with hot and cold running water, and a ceiling fan. It is like having a second kitchen for family and entertaining outdoors.
Above the casita is the mirador. There is a love seat and 2 chairs, all with gliders, plus a coffee table. The mirador has a roof to shelter you from the sun. The views are gorgeous of the mountains from the mirador with a glimpse of the lake.
