Positive: I actually thought I was booking the other Hacienda--the one nearer the airport. I didn't realize there were two. However, the location, though more central than we had anticipated, was fine with several good eating establishments nearby. Upon our arrival, the receptionist, Guadeloupe, was very friendly and helpful, and when we checked out the next day, she cheerfully got us a cab to the airport. Much appreciated. The cleaning staff were also affable. The room was spotless and comfortable, and the AC and TV both worked well.

Negative: We were unable to get any hot water in the room. The hot water tap in the sink wouldn't open at all, and the one in the shower provided only cold water, even after it had run for a while. Also, the pool was very clean but seemed to have an unusually high level of chlorine in the water.

Summary: A nice clean place with friendly, helpful staff--fine for a short visit.
