Summary: Overall, my stay at the hotel was a good experience. However, I had an unfortunate incident with one member of the valet staff that left me feeling very uncomfortable. On the first day, I used the valet service for my car. When the valet attendant came to collect my vehicle, I asked how much the parking fee was, and he told me it was 130 MXN. I gave him 150 MXN, expecting to receive 20 MXN in change, which I intended to leave as a tip. Instead, he kept the entire amount, handed me the valet ticket, and did not offer any change. I assumed he had applied the payment correctly. The following day, when I returned to pick up my car, the cashier told me I still owed 130 MXN. I explained that I had already paid the valet attendant the previous day. The cashier asked me who I had paid, but unfortunately, I had not noticed the employee's name because I did not think it would be necessary. Since they were unable to identify the valet employee who accepted my payment, I was required to pay the parking fee a second time. My concern is not the amount of money itself. What disappointed me was the apparent dishonesty of the valet attendant. If the parking fee was 130 MXN, it is unreasonable to assume that I intended to leave a 150 MXN tip. If he mistakenly believed the full amount was a tip, he had the opportunity to clarify it at the time, but he chose not to. From my perspective, this was dishonest and appeared to be intentional. I sincerely hope the hotel investigates this matter
